You may not know who Ignaz Semmelweis is.
But I bet you know who Suzanne Somers is! Yes, If one more middle aged male tells me they had a crush on her in high school....Ok.. but let's get serious here.

In Knockout she Interviews Physician's that have stepped out of the traditional 'standard of care' model and have had success with innovative and alternative treatments.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, Ignaz was a Hungarian Physician, who spent 20 years of his life trying to convince other doctor's that washing their hands would prevent a fatal disease that many mother's giving birth to babies in the 1800's died from. He saved lives but he had a nervous breakdown and died before he could receive recognition for his discovery. ( Bad timing, they hadn't discovered 'germs' yet!)
Let's hope we don't have to wait 20+ years for new effective cancer treatments to be explored, accepted and embraced.
